Exeter Lumber is situated on a 3 acre site on Portsmouth Ave. in Exeter, N. H. and has been the site of family-owned and operated Lumber and Building supply organizations since 1958. The Murphy family is continuing this tradition and is committed to serving it’s community with high quality service and materials.

We are a full service Home Improvement Center offering a wide variety of products and services for our customers in the Tri-State Seacoast region. Exeter Lumber dedicates itself to service and dependability. We have a knowledgeable staff with more than 30 years experience in the building and renovation industry, and are excited about guiding customers with their home projects.

In hopes of providing a higher level of service and convenience to our customer, we have recently completed the addition of a new 8,200 SF, drive-through building to the rear of Exeter Lumber’s hardware store to assist in the loading and handling of large & heavy building supplies. This unique feature relieves our client of the nuisance of loading large push carts and then one’s own vehicle, which continually remains the primary complaint of shopping at large national chain stores.
